Services

Strength training rewards consistent work over long periods of time. Results are predictable, but progression takes time and returns are diminishing. To get the most out of training, many need direct, personal accountability. Some just need expertise and and a guiding hand. And some just need a place to start. In any case, I am here to help!

Here are the services I offer! Choose what works best for you!

  • For all your strength and muscle building needs! 85$/h sessions gets you access to the following:

    • A fitness program that fits your individual goals and limitations

    • We will work together to iterate and improve on the program and create something that is both comfortable and challenging.

    • We will run the program from beginning to end, starting with learning technical competence on the movements and ending when we have pushed them as far as they’ll go

    • We start over and iterate once again, having built muscle and grown stronger in the process!

    15$ per session goes to RCF for rent

  • For the self motivated trainee in need of expertise and a set of objective eyes! 200$/month gets ya:

    • Custom monthly program, with the option to send questions, pictures, and video at any time for review.

    • intake call at the beginning of every training cycle (Typically 3-6 months)

    • 15 minute check-in call/meeting once per month

    3 month minimum commitment

    Clients who have ongoing 1:1 training sessions get 25% off of programming

  • Want to program for yourself but need an extra set of eyes? Comfortable in a gym space, but need that little bit of extra expertise? This is the service for you! 150$/h one-time session gets you:

    • Technical advice for lifts that you struggle with

    • Programming advice and a sample program for your particular goals at the gym

    • Follow up emails for 7 days after the session

    This is recommended for self motivated people with unpredictable schedules. Ideally, if you need ongoing help with training strategy, this appointment can be rebooked 2-4 times per year!

My Training Philosophy

My name is Sasha and I am an NASM certified personal trainer. I have learned over the course of nearly 20 years of exercise that it can be incredibly potent as a tool for self-empowerment and bodily autonomy. As a trans woman, I have used exercise as a tool to reshape my body to better align with my identity. As a competitive swimmer from elementary school to college and then as a powerlifter, I have used exercise to push the boundaries of what I thought possible with my body. By simply showing up to exercise week after week, I slowly build a resilience against injury and passive strength that improves my quality of life. This is what I offer as a trainer: The expertise and experience to help you work towards that same kind of empowerment and autonomy.

As for methodology, I use my knowledge of many different fields of exercise to inform my training approach. I am versed in programming for both bodybuilding and strength training, and many of my programs have a component of both present. I have a long history of cardio training and programming, owing to my 14 years as a competitive swimmer. I am also capable of addressing hypo and hypermobility issues. Finally, my signature sauce has been 'silly lifts' that break the boundaries of traditional strength training for those advanced enough to try them.

Most importantly though, I want you to have a good time, feel a sense of achievement, and do movements you enjoy and look forward to. Beyond everything else, I am here to be a friendly face and an encouraging presence. I look forward to working with you!
